Five words he uses about himself.

He put them in that order on purpose, and the last one changes how you read the first four.

  1. 01

    Author

The F5 creed started as words worth writing down, because words repeated long enough become the way a person thinks.

  2. 02

    Entrepreneur

Someone who has actually carried payroll, and knows what the pressure does to the other four pillars when it is not named.

  3. 03

    Leadership

Leading is mostly deciding what you will not trade away, and then not trading it away when it gets expensive.

  4. 04

    Communicator

Five words a whole room can hold at once. That is the point of a framework: it has to survive being repeated.

  5. 05

    Servant

The word he put last, which in this framework is the one that reorders the other four.

Day job

He also leads Colucci Custom Awards, the family business his father Ivo passed to him, making championship rings and awards in Columbia, South Carolina since 1940.

It is worth saying out loud, because F5 is not written from a stage. It is written by someone running a fourth generation manufacturer, where the pressure on all five pillars is a Tuesday rather than a theory.

His story, in his words

This is where Billy tells it himself: where F5 came from, what it cost to learn, and who it was written for.

Coming shortly.

In his words

The goal of F5 is not simply to teach new ideas, it is to shape a new way of living. As these words become part of your vocabulary, my prayer is that they become part of your character. Because when our language begins to change, our thinking changes. When our thinking changes, our decisions change. And when our decisions change, our lives begin to reflect the image of Christ more clearly.
